"Such a cute establishment to enjoy boba and great to place to work, when working from home. It has beautiful decor and friendly service. The boba flavour are all delicious! It's also perfectly situated near the entrance of the Rosebank Zone which makes it a perfect spot to meet up with friends or a date. It's easy to find!"

"Iris Tea Garden in Rosebank probably has the best Boba you can get in Johannesburg. The brown sugar milk tea is divine, and so is the matcha milk tea (pictured above). I found the mango crape cake to be really refreshing, almost reminded me of the mango and tapioca pancake that's gone viral on Instagram lately. All in all, it is a good place for tea, coffee, and a quick catch-up. The teas all come with a delicious sweet cream on top that just adds something special to your experience. Only caveat is that the seating area is limited as it is a small restaurant. You might just want to walk around the mall while you enjoy your drink."

"Everyone knows me as little Miss Matcha and I love sharing the best Matcha spots. I’ve had my eye on Popo tea house for a while cause it was giving Japanese energy! This place certainly did not disappoint. I loved how it contained history behind tea and the atmosphere was very tranquil. Staff are super friendly and bring your drink to you upstairs. The upstairs area was so chilled and teaches you to just sit and have a sip of your drink. On to the main event! This matcha has by far bee my favourite because you can taste the quality and they executed the presentation and taste profile. They also sell milk teas, crepe cakes which I’d love to try and other goodies in store. Highly recommend !"

"Stopped for a quick coffee. The aesthetic is amazing. Great for social media. Almost has a cave like feel to it. I love that it's also halaal. We sat upstairs. It was quite busy, so it felt rather hot as the space was tight. Some chairs r very low, and I found it a bit uncomfortable to sit on those for a long time. But the regular seating is perfect. The ice coffees n bubble tea were amazing. The tiramisu was good. Nice variety of desserts to try. The service was good. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again."

"Staff here were super friendly and their recommendations were spot on. I really enjoyed my first brown sugar matcha tea. I also purchased some loose leaf teas as well as matcha powder to make at home. The tea house is a beautiful store too that allows you to sip tea while watching people pass by."

"Love this hole in the wall. It reminds me of some coffee shops abroad. What a cool setting. Cake to die for. Make sure you go early, the cake sells out quickly. Go upstairs and sit down and enjoy your coffee, chai latte or iced coffee. Bubble teas also on the menu ."

"Stopped by after the Sunday market. Pistachio crape cake was perfect- not too sweet. Earthy décor. There was the drum performance from outside made things very interesting. Matcha latte was just as I hoped the taste to be. No sweetner added but it had a good balance with the the cake. Highly recommend!"

"WOW. Can I go back in time and discover this place sooner? The esthetic is amazing, simple, relaxed. Great place for a coffee date. The tiramisu cake is made with fresh cream layered between thin crepes. Their tea is very nice too,I had the jasmine milk tea. The pearls were a bit of a down side as they weren't uniform in size and got stuck in the straw. Also the pearl's taste was a bit bland - I prefer the brown sugar pearls. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they even brought our order upstairs to us so we wouldn't trip.
